Exploring my Vision: The "Rose Garden" Photoshoot & Fundraiser!

For the past few years, I've had the privilege of working with Pachia Xiong – first as a colleague, then as her pageant trainer, and most recently, supporting her reign as Miss Hmong Grand International 2024. I'm so excited to share an update on her incredible project that is truly inspiring: her dedication to the next generation. Through her organization, Hmong Youth Beyond Borders, Pachia is fostering vital connections between Hmong youth in America and Laos. This year, their mentorship program will culminate in an extraordinary overseas trip, allowing these young people to meet, learn from each other, and reconnect with their shared heritage. Our team is working tirelessly to raise funds to make this trip a reality, ensuring these young leaders have a transformative experience.

Our Vision

To help fund this transformative trip for Hmong Youth Beyond Borders, we're launching a series of photoshoot fundraisers this year, with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting the youth exchange program. Our first event will take place in the heart of Sacramento, capitalizing on the stunning rose gardens that bloom throughout Northern California from April to June. Sacramento boasts one of the most breathtaking rose gardens in the region, providing the perfect backdrop for creative portraits, couple's photos, early Mother's Day gifts, and intimate family portraits. Having not shot there in a while, I was personally excited to revisit its beauty. Last week, we even invited some friends to join us for a promotional shoot, and the photos were incredible!

The Angel Wings

Remember those Angel Wings Photoshoots from a few years back? I impulsively bought these wings then, and I'm so glad I did! They're incredibly lightweight, easy to transport, and absolutely breathtaking in photos. We knew they'd be stunning in the Rose Garden, and we were right! These wings add a touch of magic and whimsy to any photoshoot, creating truly extraordinary images. That's why we're thrilled to offer them as a complimentary prop for these mini-sessions! Let's bring your angel fantasies or fairytale visions to life. (Tell me I'm not the only one getting major ACOTAR vibes from the Rose Garden!)

Perfect for Kids!

The rose garden truly creates the most breathtaking backdrop, especially for capturing precious memories of little ones! These portraits would be perfect for springtime keepsakes. I even brought my own son along to shoot some promo pictures, but it turned out to be a hilarious first experience with grass! Let's just say the texture wasn't his cup of tea. Poor little guy was not a fan! So while I didn't get my promo shots this time, I'll be back for more soon (with a picnic blanket in tow!). He's had some practice with grass over Easter, so hopefully, he'll be more receptive. Luckily, we snagged a sweet photo of Pachia holding him, which was absolutely adorable!
